Welcome to Machine Vision Moment!

Today’s Machine Vision Moment introduces you to the Teledyne DALSA Genie Nano – one of the smallest cameras on the market today!

This micro-sized camera offers sensor sizes from 1 mega pixel to 8 mega pixels without ever changing the dimensions of the camera!

Models feature the latest SONY IMX CMOS sensor technology, as well as the On Semiconductor Python series of sensors, giving you the added benefits of selecting the resolution you need for your application as well as delivering the widest range of frames per second – from less than 100 up to 862 – all within a micro size and equally small price point!

Most models are available with a lens C Mount. You may also choose models with a CS Mount, depending on the needs of your application.

You’ll see there is an RJ45 GigE port, which meets all AIA GigE Standard specifications. There is also a serial I/O port, which gives you additional I/O outputs for your machine vision system.

I should also mention that certain Genie Nano models are available without an IR cut filter, to accommodate full spectrum recording applications.

Available in monochrome, color and near IR to accommodate a variety of application needs, Dalsa’s powerful Genie Nano machine vision camera packs a lot of power into a micro solution for an incredibly affordable and low cost.
