The Canon LI8020SA CMOS sensor redefines imaging with its groundbreaking 250 MP resolution, capturing detail 125 times greater than full HD in a compact APS-H format. Featuring 1.5µm square pixels arranged for ultra-high resolution, this innovative sensor balances speed and efficiency by sharing floating diffusion capacitance across pixels to reduce noise while maximizing photodiode size. With 16 digital output channels enabling progressive readout of its roughly 250 million effective pixels, it delivers 5 FPS at full resolution, with faster frame rates possible through Region of Interest (ROI) windowing for reduced resolutions. Compact, powerful, and versatile, the LI8020SA opens new possibilities in high-performance imaging.
