The Spark SP-12000C-CXP4 (color) and Spark SP-12000M-CXP4 (monochrome) are 12-megapixel CMOS industrial area scan cameras with a CoaXPress 4-connector interface.

Both camera models are based on the CMOSIS 12MP CMOS sensor (CMV12000) featuring a resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels, 5.5 µm square pixels and global shutter technology.

Based on well-crafted JAI electronics design, the Spark SP-12000-CXP4 delivers a super-fast frame rate of 188 frames/s in full 12 megapixel resolution at 8-bit.  This is the fastest frame rate of any comparable 12 megapixel CMOS camera presently available on the market. 

SP-12000-CXP4 camera models are based on the CMOSIS 12MP CMOS sensor (CMV12000) featuring a resolution of 4096 x 3072 pixels, 5.5 µm square pixels and global shutter technology.

Features include Automatic Level Control (ALC) combining auto gain and auto shutter capabilities, an HDR function providing up to 90 dB dynamic range (monochrome only), 1x2, 2x1, and 2x2 binning (monochrome only), sequence trigger, and a unique multi-ROI function for flexible image readout or frame rate enhancements in lower resolutions.

Pre-processing functions include flat field correction, color shading correction, blemish correction, black level control, auto/manual white balance and a 256-point programmable look-up table (LUT). 

All features and electronic components are packed very efficiently in a small form factor (60 x 60 x 127.5 mm) placing it among the smallest on the market of comparable industrial cameras. The SP-12000-CXP4 weighs only 510 grams which presently makes it the lightest 12-megapixel CoaXPress 4-channel camera on the market.

The SP-12000-CXP4 has a small form factor (60 x 60 x 127.5 mm) placing it among the smallest on the market of comparable industrial cameras. The weighs is only 510 grams. 

The SP-12000-CXP4 has a working temperature range of -5°C to +45°C, which is also among the best performance specifications compared to similar cameras.  

Furthermore, the SP-12000 cameras have a rugged design to be able to withstand operating conditions with high vibration effects (max 10G) and high shock occurrence (max 80G), classifying SP-12000-CXP4 with the highest standards for industrial reliability and durability.
