USB 3.0 technology allows for bandwidth in excess of 350 MB/s as well as power and data over the same passive cable to five meters (and even more with active cables). Sony's USB 3.0 camera models are capable of high speed data transfer up to 5 GB/s and the transfer of uncompressed video signals at full resolution 1080/60p.
